Our firstborn would have been 30 years old today. Happy Birthday Dane!

I'm home for a five day R&R due to a silly act of flying across the classroom in front of 30 students. One girl came into class late, and crouched down next to her friend, instead of finding a seat. I told her to sit down. The CD was ending , so I went to turn it off. Again, I told the girl to move and sit down, but then her foot tangled up with my foot--and i'm already a bit gimpy with bad balance---so as I flailed to get my balance, it was too late. I found myself flat on the floor, with tears streaming down my face, while 30 traumatized kids looked on. After a visit to the local ER--no broken bones--just bruises, lumps, and  a pair of crutches. So, how was your day?!
